200G/L GLUFOSINATE SL

Glufosinate has been a popular single product of herbicide in the past two years, especially after the use of paraquat was banned in China and other countries. As one of the alternatives to paraquat, the output and demand of glufosinate have increased rapidly. Take China as an example. As the world's largest producer of glufosinate, China's production of glufosinate in 2013 was only 500 tons. In 2021, the domestic production of glufosinate in China will grow rapidly to 22500 tons.

Among the formulation of glufosinate, the formulation of 200g/L and 150g/L are the most common. Taking 200g/L as an example, the common formulation and specifications are shown in the table below:

At present, the 200g/L glufosinate formulation on the market are mostly prepared with technical material technical material (TC), and the color of the preparation is mostly referred to the blue. In addition, there are also red or golden glufosinate preparations. In recent years, with the soaring price of glufosinate, many regions, especially Southeast Asia, have gradually increased their acceptance of glufosinate preparations prepared from glufosinate technical concentrate（TK） , because the price of glufosinate TK is much lower than that of TC, which is more easily accepted by users.

Because the color of glufosinate TK is dark, mostly dark yellow or brown, the preparations prepared from glufosinate TK are mostly brown, dark blue, dark green or red. Essentially, the effective substance (L-type glufosinate isomer) of the preparation prepared from glufosinate TK and TC of glufosinate is the same, and should have the same herbicidal activity. However, in addition to the effective substance, there are many by-products and impurities that cannot be removed during the production of glufosinate in the TK, which leads to that it is much more difficult for the formulation of glufosinate TK with the same content to enhance the efficacy than the TC. However, as long as the synergistic difficulty of high salt system (glufosinate TK) is overcome, there is no problem that the formulation of glufosinate TK should achieve the same efficacy as the TC.

The adjuvants for glufosinate TC adopts classic anionic/non-ionic formulation, with outstanding efficacy. Moreover, the prepared preparation has a good viscosity and can be well dispersed in water. The Wettability and permeability of the preparation is also Excellent, it can accelerate the penetration and absorption of herbicide, especially in the rainy season with a relatively short spraying window period, it can make the glufosinate preparation penetrate into plants quickly, so that avoid being washed by rainwater.

The adjuvant for glufosinate TK are available in anionic/nonionic and nonionic/zwitterionic formulations. By selecting different types of surfactants, which not only can suitable for the high-salt systems of glufosinate TK but also have excellent synergistic performance, are screened out. It is compounded by the preparation, so that the preparation can be stable and efficient.
